  • research the conditions of poverty in eastern North Carolina
  • identify causes and issues impacting poverty
  • identify resources and services available to meet the needs of eastern North Carolinians as well as the identification of gaps or unmet needs and services
  • be a catalyst for change by effectively addressing the gaps in resources and services available to those living in poverty in eastern North Carolina
  • to implement or improve existing programs from the results of survey research.
