In August 1991 ENCPC conducted a regional survey co-sponsored with the Daily Reflector in Greenville, North Carolina to study attitudes relating to poverty in eastern North Carolina

From October 1991 to May 1992 ENCPC conducted a Small Business Survey of over 1600 small businesses in the region to determine their knowledge of existing services. A regional workshop was conducted May 1, 1992 to disseminate the results to regional service providers.

In the Fall of 1993 ENCPC conducted a regional survey on housing that provided data on the status of substandard housing, services provided in various counties, and replicable solutions to the problem of substandard rural housing.
